Urban Maisons is a teak furniture and door manufacturer with our own production facility in Jepara, Central Java — one of Indonesia’s oldest teak woodworking regions. Every minimalist door in our range is built in-house, from kiln-dried timber selection through to final finishing.

Where are Urban Maisons teak doors manufactured?
Every door is built at our own production facility in Jepara, Central Java, Indonesia, postcode 59431. We don’t subcontract to third-party workshops, so the same team that designs your door also builds it.
Is the teak wood legally sourced and certified?
Yes. All teak used in our doors is SVLK certified — Indonesia’s official timber legality assurance system — and our supply chain documentation supports EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) compliance for shipments into European markets.
Which countries do you currently supply?
We actively export to Malaysia, Singapore, the Maldives, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Australia. Other destinations are quoted on request.
Can the minimalist door designs be customized?
Yes. Height, width, panel configuration, slat spacing, wood finish and hardware can all be adjusted to your project’s specification. Send us your opening dimensions and we’ll confirm feasibility.
Do you provide installation, or only manufacturing and delivery?
We handle manufacturing and freight all the way to your doorstep. We don’t currently offer on-site installation ourselves — that’s coordinated with your own contractor or installation team, and we’re happy to provide fitting guidance to support them.
How does teak perform in tropical, coastal or high-traffic hospitality settings?
Teak’s natural oils make it resistant to moisture, rot and termites, which is why it’s been used in exterior and marine applications for centuries. It holds up well in humid, coastal climates without the warping common to softer woods.
What is the minimum order quantity for a hotel or resort project?
There’s no strict minimum for hospitality projects. We work with single-property orders as well as multi-property rollouts, and pricing is quoted per project scope.
How long does production and delivery take?
Lead time depends on quantity, customization and destination — typically several weeks for manufacturing plus shipping time. We confirm an exact timeline once we have your specifications and delivery location.
Can you build a custom design from our architect or interior designer?
Yes, we regularly work from architectural drawings and interior design specifications. Share your design files and we’ll provide a feasibility and cost assessment before production begins.
What hardware and finish options are available?
We offer pull handles, locksets and hinges in brass, matte black and brushed steel finishes, along with multiple teak stain and sealant options. Samples can be provided before full production.
