Every material we use in our outdoor dining collection — teak, aluminum, rope, and wicker — is tested and studied by our own team against real outdoor conditions before it goes into production: sun exposure, rain, humidity, and salt air. We don’t take a material’s outdoor rating on faith from a spec sheet; we verify it ourselves, on our own factory floor, before it ever reaches yours.
Care & Maintenance Guide
A short guide per material, so your outdoor dining furniture stays in service longer.
Teak
Left untreated, teak weathers to a natural silver-grey — a normal, cosmetic change, not a defect. For a consistent color, clean occasionally with mild soap and water and apply a teak protector oil once or twice a year. Avoid pressure washing.
Aluminum
Powder-coated aluminum needs the least upkeep — a rinse with water and mild soap keeps it looking new. Avoid abrasive cleaners on the coating, and touch up chips promptly to prevent corrosion underneath.
Rope
Rinse with fresh water regularly, especially near pools or coastal air, to prevent salt or chlorine buildup. Mild soap removes most stains; avoid bleach, which weakens the fiber over time.
Wicker
Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap; a soft brush lifts dust from tight weave patterns. Keep sharp objects away from the weave, and rinse off sunscreen or oil residue promptly to prevent staining.
